Minimum required skills and experience: 

• Accurate Tube Bending
• Machine Mitering
• Hand Mitering.
• MiG, TiG Mild Steel, 4130, SS & Aluminum
• Oxy-Acetylene
• General automotive mechanic operations and procedures.  
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Ability to assist engineer with drawing and procedure corrections for updates of CAD library.

Additional skills desired but not required:

• Ability to construct and maintain assembly fixtures for production of weldments.
• Fast paced accurate mechanical assembly of machined parts and components to full assembly of race cars, or modification of production based passenger cars for high performance use.
• Familiar with or skilled in the operation of :
• Box and Pan brake
• Press Brake
• Corner Notcher
• Slip roll
• Iron Worker
• Lathe
• Mill
• Plasma cutter, Manual
• CNC machining center operation
• CNC Dual Spindle Mill-Turn operator.
• Engine machining
• Flow bench operation
• Engine dynamometer operation
• Google Drive
• Google Keep
• Google Calendar

We are a small veteran owned and managed shop with a 40+ year history of performance excellence.  A shop where you are free to work unsupervised much of the time or take your work wherever you can get the job done cost effectively. This is initially a contractor position with potential to convert to employment with stock options in the future.   Ours is a place where you can learn much.  To that end we are looking for the right fit, a talented individual that can and will call our growing shop home for a very long time.  A positive and pragmatic attitude is required.
